- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the softened unsalted butter.
- Add the minced garlic to the bowl.
- Sprinkle in the finely chopped fresh parsley.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
- If desired, fold in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the loaf of Texas toast if its not pre-sliced, aiming for 1-inch thick slices.
- Lay the slices on a baking sheet (lined with parchment paper if desired).
