- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Flour (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a clean, floured surface, unroll the refrigerated pizza dough. If sticky, sprinkle more flour on top.
- Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Cut the dough into squares, approximately 3×3 inches, yielding about 12 squares.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced pepperoni and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Add the grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix well.
- Set the filling mixture aside.
- Take a dough square and place 1-2 tablespoons of the filling in the center.
- Fold the corners towards the center and pinch the edges to seal.
- Roll the sealed dough ball in your hands to create a smooth surface. Repeat for remaining squares.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Place the assembled pizza bombs on the baking sheet, leaving space between each.
- Beat the egg for an egg wash and brush the tops of each pizza bomb.
- Sprinkle with extra garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Monitor closely to prevent over-browning; cover with foil if necessary.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Serve the pizza bombs warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
