Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the chicken tenders under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the chicken tenders to the bowl and toss until fully coated.
- Cut the bacon slices in half.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Wrap each chicken tender with a half slice of bacon, overlapping slightly, and secure with a toothpick if necessary.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the bacon-wrapped chicken tenders on the wire rack, spaced evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C).
- For extra crispy bacon, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Remove toothpicks if used.
- Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the brown sugar mixture.
